Collagen Wound Dressing

CollaHeal™ Pads

A sterile bovine-collagen matrix that gels into the wound on contact, supporting the body's own repair sequence.

CollaHeal™ Pads — Collagen Wound Dressing

Overview

CollaHeal™ Pads bring structural intelligence to the wound bed. Composed of cross-linked bovine type-I collagen, each sterile, single-use pad presents a porous matrix that draws in drainage and, on hydration, settles into a soft, conformable gel sheet across the wound surface. Because the dressing is biodegradable, there is nothing to peel away at the next visit — the matrix simply resorbs as the tissue beneath it rebuilds, sparing the patient unnecessary disruption.

Distinctions

  • Cross-linked bovine type-I collagen matrix
  • Porous structure absorbs drainage and gels in place
  • Biodegradable — no traumatic removal
  • Maintains a moist, protected healing environment
  • Sterile, single-use format in multiple sizes

Clinical Indications

Full- and partial-thickness wounds; pressure, venous, diabetic, and mixed-etiology ulcers; partial-thickness burns; donor sites; abrasions and traumatic wounds; dehisced surgical incisions.

Considerations

Not for use with known bovine collagen sensitivity, third-degree burns, or actively infected wounds.
