PRP Wound Gel

The patient's own platelets, concentrated into a moldable healing gel at the point of care.

PRP Wound Gel — Advanced Therapy · RegenWound®

Overview

RegenWound® Gel turns a 20 mL blood draw into autologous therapy in minutes. A single five-minute centrifugation removes 99.7% of red blood cells while recovering over 80% of live platelets, yielding roughly 6.5 mL of platelet-rich plasma suspended in a natural fibrin scaffold. Activated with the patient's own thrombin serum, the moldable gel conforms to the wound and releases concentrated growth factors that recruit fibroblasts, drive granulation, and signal for collagen production, revascularization, and epithelial closure. Recognized under CMS billing codes G0465 (diabetic) and G0460 (non-diabetic chronic wounds).

Distinctions

  • Autologous PRP from a 20 mL point-of-care draw
  • Single 5-minute centrifugation cycle
  • 99.7% RBC elimination; >80% live platelet recovery
  • Moldable fibrin-scaffold gel, naturally activated
  • CMS-recognized: G0465 / G0460

Clinical Indications

Chronic diabetic wounds (G0465); non-diabetic chronic wounds (G0460), under clinician direction.
